Independent · we take nothing from suppliers

Let fuel suppliers compete for your volumes.

We put your diesel, and the rest of your fleet spend, out to a live tender. Suppliers bid against each other on screen and you choose the winner. We are paid from what you save, and nothing at all by the suppliers.

What we run

Three things, and we run all of them end to end

01

Diesel auctions

Your volume goes to every major supplier at once. They bid the price down live, on screen, and you pick the winner. Same fuel, same supply, lower price.

The petrol pump price is set by regulation, so on petrol we work the rebates, zone and card terms rather than the gazetted price.

02

Fleet and logistics auctions

The same bidding works on anything you buy repeatedly against a spec. Diesel is usually the biggest line, but it is rarely the only one worth tendering.

03

Full managed tenders

If you need the whole process run, we run it. You approve the decisions and we do the work.

  • RFQ, contract and scoring documents drafted
  • Vendors invited, briefed and managed
  • Live auction hosted by us
  • Responses and compliance packs collected and checked
  • Award pack, then the price checked every month

Diesel price timing

The wholesale price is set by the state on the first Wednesday of every month, off a daily sheet anyone can read. We read it, so you know what is coming before it lands.

Wholesale list prices as gazetted, cross-checked to the Central Energy Fund daily sheets. The October figure is our own forecast, not a gazetted price, and it will not be gazetted until the window closes on 30 September. Not advice.

The standing panel

Already competing for your volume

Oil companies, wholesalers, fuel-card providers and independents, already signed up and ready to bid. We take nothing from any of them, so we have no reason to favour one over another.

Logos belong to their owners and are shown to identify them only. FuelBid is independent and not connected to any of them. Which suppliers bid depends on where your sites are.

How it works

From your invoices to a signed deal

Five stages. You approve each one. Below you can watch what the auction actually does, then tap any stage to see who handles what.

Not only fuel

A fifth of that came from things that are not diesel

The same auction works on anything a fleet buys repeatedly against a spec.

If diesel is not the line that bothers you most, tell us which one is.

Savings are what the client agreed was saved against their position before the event. Clients are not named or described. Two further events were set up but not completed and are excluded.

We don't sell fuel. We run the tender.

We are paid a share of what you save, and nothing at all by the suppliers.

Next step

Put your spend to the market, and keep the difference.

Tell us roughly what you buy. We will come back with what a tender would look like for you, and what it is likely to be worth. No obligation, and nothing you send us goes anywhere else.
